Who would you choose as your business coach?

The concept of a business coach took hold back in the late 1970’s. Managers realized their team’s potential for success could increase when provided with support and guidance. While novel in the competitive corporate world of the 1980’s, the idea of teaching someone how to succeed is not a revolutionary idea. It is common sense! Today, many professions offer coaching for their employees. Professionals who do not have access to coaching from their employer may seek out a coach on their own. Seasoned professionals have the opportunity to use the sharing of their knowledge as a job position of its own.

What about the many great minds that touched our world who never held the title, “business coach”? Their wisdom and experience may still offer us encouragement and guidance. Let’s take a look at some of the people who’s determined spirit, creativity and confidence in the face of adversity offer inspiration we can apply to our professional work and daily lives.

Who inspires you? If you had the opportunity to choose anyone from history through to modern day, who would be your business coach?
